This is my current set up of equipment for podcasting and video production. It has changed around a few times. ‘You don’t know what you don’t know’ when you are starting off in this world, so I have been slowly learning from my mistakes and I’m happy with my current processes and equipment. Cost is also a factor – remember, you don’t have to start off with all of the high end equipment! You can start with what you can afford, and then slowly add in better pieces as they become accessible.

But here’s a tip – if you can stretch yourself for one higher quality item early on, then get the best microphone you can manage.
